Who we are
ProTile LLC ("ProTile", "we") is a tile installation contractor based in Meridian, Idaho. This policy covers this website and the estimate form on it. Questions about it go to or .
What we collect
Information you give us. The free estimate form asks for your name and phone number (required) and, optionally, your email address, the project address, the type and size of the project, your timeline, any add-ons, project details, and whether you want text updates. If you call or email us instead, we keep whatever you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. Like every website, ours is served by a hosting provider (Vercel) whose servers keep standard request logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Requests to other companies. Every page, including its typefaces, is served from this site. The one exception is the service-area map on the About page, which loads map tiles from OpenFreeMap. Your browser sends that request directly, so OpenFreeMap sees your IP address and the page that requested the tiles. See the cookie policy for details.
How we use it
- To call or email you back, schedule a site visit and prepare your written estimate.
- To do the work you hire us for, invoice it and keep the job records a contractor has to keep.
- To text you about your estimate or job, such as setting up the site visit. Reply STOP at any time and we will only call or email.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not send marketing emails or texts you have not asked for.
Where it goes and how long we keep it
The estimate form is delivered to our business mailbox as an email, through our hosting provider, our email delivery service (Resend) and our email provider. It is then stored in that mailbox and in our job records. We keep estimate requests for as long as we need them to answer you and run the business, and completed-job records for as long as Idaho contractor, tax and warranty obligations require. If you ask us to delete a request that did not turn into a job, we will.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run parts of the site or the business for us: website hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend), our email provider, and, if your job needs it, a licensed plumber or electrician we coordinate with. They may use your information only to provide that service.
- Professional advisers such as our accountant or attorney, when they need it.
- Authorities, if the law requires it or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
- A buyer, if the business is ever sold, under the same commitments.
Text messages
When you send the estimate form, the form tells you that we may call or text the number you give us, and sending it is your consent to receive text messages from ProTile about your estimate and job, such as setting up the site visit, appointment confirmations and schedule changes. We text you ourselves, one message at a time; we do not send marketing texts. Message frequency depends on your project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help. Your consent is not a condition of hiring us. We do not share phone numbers or text consent with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or analytics cookies. The only thing it stores in your browser is a note that you have dismissed the cookie notice. The cookie policy lists everything.
Your choices
- Every field on the estimate form except name and phone is optional, and you can always call instead.
- You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email and we will answer within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm it is you.
- Turn text updates off at any time by replying STOP.
- Because we do not track visitors or sell data, "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals need no action from us; nothing is collected that they would stop.
Residents of states with privacy laws (such as California) have the rights those laws provide. We handle every request the same way, wherever you live.
Children
This website and our services are for adults arranging work on a home. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the form is delivered over an encrypted connection, and only the people who need to answer your request can read it. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach affecting your information we will tell you as Idaho law requires.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes to how we use the information you have already given us will be explained there too.
